Van Hook (Vanna)

Model good looks alert! Vanna, known on the racetrack as Van Hook, is a beautiful 6 year old off track thoroughbred that came to our sanctuary from Aftercare Charles Town. Vanna is broke, but very green, and best suited as a project horse for an experienced, patient rider, rather than a beginner. She can be a bit skittish and lacks confidence under saddle, but has been making great progress on the ground and has become more trusting with consistent handling. Vanna has potential for various riding styles, but looks fabulous under English tack. She's very kind hearted and is looking for an adopter who's willing to invest time into building a wonderful partnership. Vanna is currently barefoot and keeps to herself, making her easy to keep. If you're looking for a mare that could be a rewarding project and doesn't cause problems, inquire to adopt.
